Exhibition not to miss : Baroque painters are the stars of the Hermitage Museum in Amsterdam

And now a little bit of culture…I would highly recommend the beautiful exhibition dedicated to the Flemish great masters in the Amsterdam Hermitage Museum. The « Baroque » artists are the stars of this retrospective, featuring great pieces by Rubens, Van Dyck, Jacob Jordaens, Frans Snyders to name a few, plus another joint exhibition highlighting the works by young Flemish artists from 21st century.

Enjoying a huge success, the Flemish Painters exhibition is extended to the 15th of june 2012. A good opportunity to spend a day or two in Amsterdam, strolling about the city other museums ( Rijksmuseum, Rembrandt House, Van Gogh museum…), the canals, the shopping ( Oud Zuid quarter), the lovely hotels ( Lloyd hotel…).
